Help with wedding cake!!?

Ok so I have the bakery who is going to make this cake... she asked if we wanted a cake stand, but her cake stands were all really elegant, and obviously this is not an elegant cake.. but she did suggest doing something to elevate it and i said i would work on it!! I am needing some help with the decoration of the cake table. I am not looking for elegant i am looking for an idea to go along with the mario theme... and no not the little kid stuff!! I was thinking putting it up on bricks.. but I do not know.. i was also thinking about putting some color fabric underneath.. but i am also having trouble picking a color. but honestly i am looking for other options as well as additions to my own!! please help!!

Enlist some friends to help you make the green pipes with the man eating flowers. Make them different heights and put them around the table on a green piece of tulle that puffs up in places (don't lay it flat.)

Or lay gray tulle on the table and find some original nintendo controls and place them around the cake on the table.
