mexico and jamaica have a lot of slums. bahamas is boring, for old people. I have no clue what mauritius is but a friend went to turks and caicos and it sounds nice and tropical. maybe you could look up sandals resorts, I think they're all over the world.

tropical weddings make me think of the colors aqua and yellow.

I don't think out of 125 people you'll get 80 for a destination wedding. destination weddings turn out to be smaller than that I think.
